(2) In addition to the Official Gazette, the scheme must be posted on the Notice Boards of the offices of the State Transport Undertaking and the State Transport Authority. It must also be published in at least one daily newspaper in Hindi that circulates in the relevant area.

(1) Any person affected by the scheme published by the State Transport Undertaking may file an objection within thirty days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The objection must be submitted in the form of a memorandum addressed to the Commissioner. The memorandum should include:
(a) The name and address of the objector.
(b) Whether the objector holds any permit under Chapter V of the Act and, if so, the specific route(s) or area(s) covered.
(c) Details of any alternative route(s) or area(s) for which the objector seeks a permit.
(2) The memorandum may be signed by the objector or an authorized representative with a valid power of attorney.
(3) A copy of the memorandum must be simultaneously sent to the State Transport Undertaking.


Q: What is the procedure for the consideration of objections to a proposed scheme?


According to the Delhi Motor Vehicle Rules, 1993 , The State Government will schedule a hearing for the representative of the State Transport Undertaking and the objectors or their authorized agents. The date, time, and place of the hearing will be determined by the State Government and communicated to the concerned parties at least fourteen days in advance.
